The StoryThis tent has been a vision of mine for the past two years, but it took that long to get it because they were sold out for so long with the fresh craze for Glamping and getting outdoors for a life more connected to nature, which is absolutely amazing that so many people are making the moves to find ways to be closer to nature.
Personally, this is my purpose in life, to bring people closer to the nature of themselves and recognize their connection to all of nature through deeper self awareness and holistic perspectives. This tent offers a space where we can join together in community but still enjoy the comfort of not being distracted by bugs as well as have the benefit of the wood stove to keep the tent cozy and warm during days when it is colder than 60 degrees outside. I named it the Sugar Bliss tent because it is being launched as an outdoor studio space here in Sugar Grove where I presently reside surrounded by Bliss Woods Forest Preserve and so the Sugar Bliss Tent its birthed into creation and ready to serve you as a safe space to make friends, connect to your body, enjoy nature and expand your mind. Location: 290 KeDeKa Road Sugar Grove |
About the SpaceThe tent is a 20 foot space which allows for 6-8 students to practice yoga in (6 when the stove is set up) or 10 people to gather for meditations, lectures or sister circle events.
There are screened windows throughout which can be opened to allow for fresh airflow and scenic views of the chickens outside or the wildlife that passes through the property such as large herds of deer. A bathroom is available in my home which also is the home of a large lovable dog named Koda, he will be contained during events, but if you have a dog allergy this is something to take into consideration if you need to use the facilities. Parking is limited to 7 vehicles, this is why pre-registration is required and there are discounted rates if you carpool, bike, walk, or run to come to an event. |
See Below for the Weekly Yoga Schedule and Other Special Events!
If you are interested in hosting an event out of the tent, please contact me as I am welcome guest facilitators for all things regarding sustainable living, forestry, foraging, yoga, healing modalities and so on. |
