Xinalani is a sustainable eco-resort with property that serves as a wildlife sanctuary for animals that inhabit the jungle and the ocean. Located in Puerto Vallarta and accessible only by boat this eco-resort offers a secluded escape from the rest of the world, the ideal setting to set aside your day to day life and focus on your growth and discovering your wings!
The resort offers a variety of different yoga studios spread throughout the mountainside along the ocean, we will be nesting mostly in the aerial yoga studio, an open-air studio with ocean views. Our daily schedule will be filled with information on teaching aerial yoga, but balanced with breaks to nourish ourselves, take a dip in the pool, a walk on the beach and integrate the material in a way that can help you retain the most from our experience together. We will also enjoy a fun excursion together as a group snorkeling and hiking a waterfall! There will be downtown sprinkled throughout the week together so that you can make the most of your time away from home and take in all the beauty and offerings of the stunning location!

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Information
50-Hour Certification Intention: Aviana offers this Aerial Yoga Teacher Training to help carve the way for the booming and growing aerial yoga industry that is blossoming each day. The demand for well-educated, confident, and heart-felt instructors is rising and with this teacher training program Aviana intends to help provide the tools and resources to those that are truly passionate about the versatile gifts of an aerial yoga practice. There are many avenues one can take with this certification and Aviana would like to be apart of this journey and plant the seeds that will grow into impactful, profound instructors. The Program: The program is a structured with 25 contact hours completed over this retreat coupled with 25 hours of self-study and practice teaching hours. Once the intensive is complete there are 4 modules that are to be completed within 5 months of the launch date of training. Certification is not guaranteed, as the additional modules must be completed to satisfaction in order to obtain the certificate. Aviana honors the full integrity of a learning program designed in such a way to bring out the unique essence and passion of the prospective instructor pursuing an opportunity to instruct and guide others in the practice of aerial yoga. Certifcation: This is a 50-hour aerial yoga teacher training program. Presently, with the growing industry of various forms of aerial apparatus certifications there are 25-hour and 50-hour certification programs. Aviana seeks to produce instructors of integrity that honor the principles of yoga, while integrating in their own uniqueness and insight. We stress the importance of safety and welcome instructors that are truly passionate about the practice of aerial yoga. It is a requirement to already have obtained your 200-hour yoga instructor certification OR have 3+ years of teaching movement and fitness, applicants with a strong history of yoga participation and/or experience instructing students/clients in another field may also be considered. Accommodations
Every room and casita have spectacular and inspiring ocean views, most are located high in the mountains, with a fresh, open-air, spacious and palm-thatched roof design. All of the rooms reserved for this retreat will have A/C available to be able to cool off and take a break from the summer warmth as well as private baths for each suite. Since the resort is situated on a mountainside there are a lot of stairs to move from place to place so this retreat will not only get you in aerial yoga shape but also give your booty a new look as well!
Each room option has a private bath complete with an open air shower, biodegradable soaps and shampoo that can be replenished as needed, beach towels and bath towels, as well as filtered drinking water with glasses.

Arrival and Departure Check-in will be 3 pm on Saturday July 20th and Check-out is 12 pm on Saturday July 27th.
Transportation to the Resort Xinalani is only accessible by boat, there are no roads leading to the resort. Guests should book an ARRIVAL flight that LANDS NO LATER than 4:00 pm in Puerto Vallarta on July 20th. DEPARTURE flights should not depart any earlier than 12:00 PM on July 27th. Any guests arriving to the airport after 4:30 pm (as scheduled or due to delays or flight cancellations) will have to find their own accommodations at their own expense for the evening and will be transferred to Xinalani the following morning. Meals Meals are provided at set times throughout the retreat and served in a buffet style with plenty of food for everyone. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated so please make us aware during your reservation. Please note that red meat and pork is not served or available at the resort, gluten free and vegan options are available with every meal.
Registration Once you register and pay your deposit for the retreat, there will be several follow up emails coming from the retreat center and from Aviana leading up to the retreat to help you to be prepared and ready for worry-free travel and a delightful stay! We have you covered on all bases!
Textbooks Since this is a retreat teacher training, it is requested that you purchase your textbook ahead of time to bring with you to the retreat, this way you can familiarize yourself with the material while traveling on the plane and flow through the daily lessons with ease and a sense of preparedness; in addition to, saving on having to so any homework reading during the retreat, which means more time for the beach!
Payments A $500 deposit is all that is required to secure your spot and hold your reservation for this retreat. The remaining balance can be submitted in payments leading up to the retreat, 50% of the balance due is required by May 31st and the remaining balance must be paid in full by July 1st. Cancellation Policy
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance. IF YOU CANCEL THE RETREAT:
90 days or more prior to the start of the retreat, you receive: Any money paid above the $500 non-refundable deposit, less a credit card fee of 4%, we cannot refund any travel costs incurred. 40-89 days prior to the start of the retreat, you receive: 50% credit of the cost of the full retreat toward another Aviana Yoga Retreat within 12 months, and will forfeit the remainder. You are still responsible for the FULL cost of the training/retreat. All payments must be received in full by 15 days prior to the retreat and any remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file on that date if not already paid. 0-39 days prior to the start of the yoga retreat, you receive: no refunds or credits will be given. If we do cancel a trip due too few participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid. We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that Aviana Yoga must cancel a retreat due to weather, natural disaster, pandemic, or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund – it will be depending on receiving a refund from the venue / tour operator we work with. To cover these risks, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
You cancel your participation in the retreat
Retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip
Lost baggage
Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
We recommend TRAVELGUARD, which offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you cancel your retreat – for any reason – your airfare, hotel, retreat costs, etc. up until 48 hours prior to travel, will be covered. This comprehensive package is called the ”Gold Package Cancel for Any Reason Policy”. You must contact Travelguard and purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel. You can also just insure your air tickets.
