Imagine floating across the cool water on your yoga mat!
Stand Up Paddleboard yoga is the greatest way to tap into engagement of your core, improve your balance, and enjoy the many gifts of nature while being out on the water. Class experiences do not have to be limited to those with phenomenal fitness and balance, in fact, they are a great opportunity for those that struggle with balance, from the stimulation of the water with the board, the body is able to WAKE UP the stabilization muscles and proprioceptors so that you can improve your balance while having fun being outdoors. When classes are led in a mindful manner you will discover that you can maintain a connection to your board and realize the full therapeutic benefits of practicing on the water. That is the Aviana approach to SUP Yoga and Fitness, keep it fun, light, and dialed into the body's intelligence in order to set every student up for success! |

Join me on the water for a 75 minute class where we will tap into our connection to nature and to our bodies with the forgiving support of the healing waters. Class will include an overview of paddling basics and how to get on your board, a warm up paddle, meditation, yoga class flow aligned with the time of day, final relaxation and return paddle.
Sunset Paddle & Relaxation
Unwind with the water at the end of your day. This 75-minute class is meant to get you into a moving meditation with paddling through the water and letting all your worries and cares just float away. We will make several leisurely laps around the water before then floating through a guided relaxation to help you reset.

We will have an energized class moving through paddling challenges which can help a lot with learning to paddle or enhancing your paddling skills, then we will move through engaging exercises for the abdominals, arms, legs and back muscles on the board and off the board (so you will get wet), at the end we will stretch it all out and relax before enjoying a delightful paddle back to the launch site.
Paddle Play
A 75 minute class, come on out and try out paddling without the pressure of practicing yoga on the board too, I will go over the basics of paddling and we will do an on the shore warm-up and then enjoy paddling around the lake while finding our balance and taking in the scenery. We will practice turns and go over what to do if you fall off, and for those that choose to, can take some time practicing so that everyone can feel water ready to SUP at any lake.
